Upon returning home with a folder of the semester's work and assignments:
- Mom: Oh, is this where you keep the...what are they...syllabuses?
- Me: Syllabi.
- Mom: Syllabi... [scoff] Tell me, is it "buses" or "bus-i?"
- Me: Um...
- Mom: Like, oh, it must be rush hour, look at all the "school bus-i!"
